My congratulations go to Paula Fox of Nixvis Ltd who I worked with at RSE in the autumn. Earlier this month, Paula was awarded winner of Most Promising New Business of the Year 2017 at the Women Ahead Business Awards. The WABA highlight the ‘hard work, vision and dedication of women and help raise the profile of women in business and the community.’
Paula’s innovative range of skiwear with integrated lighting technology and a safety colour coding system was inspired by a skiing accident in which she was involved. The bright colours that Paula was wearing meant that she was spotted quickly and avoided more serious injury. She has taken this idea one step further and has designed wearable light tech skiwear which will be available from Nixvis Ltd this year. Further information on Paula’s range can be found here.
