Pitching for investment coaching
Learn how to articulate your company’s value and demonstrate credibility when pitching for investment.

Improve your pitching skills
Pitching for investment can be a nerve-wracking experience. Faced with significant time constraints and fierce competition, you’re tasked with persuading savvy investors to take a chance on you and your business. All this while demonstrating your knowledge, credibility and self-belief.
The high-stakes context of an investment pitch can cause even the most experienced presenters to falter. Striking the right balance between personable and professional can feel like an impossible task. Many people struggle to talk about their successes while coming off as sincere and likeable.
Pitching for investment coaching can help you articulate the value of the opportunity on offer to prospective investors. We’ll work on every aspect of the pitching process, from preparing your key messages to delivering an engaging presentation and fielding challenging questions.
The Maryanne Johnston team can help you clearly define your value proposition, gain stronger presentation skills and develop a more natural speaking style, gearing you up for success in your next investment pitch.

The impact from the pitching workshop was immense. Maryanne showed us where to make improvements around the message, content and presentation. It also added huge value to the process of raising and went way beyond what we’d expected to gain.
The pitch got the investors’ interest and we successfully raised our first VC backed investment within months. I am confident that this would not have been the result without the benefit of Maryanne’s workshop.
Bob Lawson
Director, Kumulos (later acquired by Optimove)
I recently wrapped up a whirlwind few weeks that included a 2 min pitch and a 6 min pitch. I’ve received glowing feedback. I’ve heard things like “You absolutely crushed the presentation last night”, “I’m sure you’re flooded with people trying to reach you after your pitch” and “I understood every word you said”. There was SO much audience engagement – it was a thrill and genuinely enjoyable experience. I know I have your program to thank for how this has turned out and for how I will continue to grow.
